Job Description:

The Content Coordinator (part-time) is responsible for managing RMG’s internal social media content calendar and supporting the agency’s BSuite podcast production process.
 
Potential Hours/Week: 10-12
 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Developing & Managing Agency’s Organic Social Media Content
    • Instagram – Posts/Stories/Reels
    • Facebook – Posts/Stories
    • LinkedIn
  • Supporting Agency’s in-house BSuite podcast
    • Scheduling recording sessions
    • Communicating with guests
    • Researching questions/topics for interviews
    • Editing episode transcripts
    • Coordinating editing work with external production team
    • Posting final audio to website and social media

Job Description:

Richardson Media Group is seeking a freelance SEO Content Writer to work in tandem with and report to our Senior SEO Strategist on behalf of a diverse client roster.

Skills required:

  • Strong content editing abilities with an added layer of SEO knowledge
  • Native English grammar
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic HTML skills
  • Research skills
  • Quality online writing skills
  • Traditional editing capabilities: proofreading, copyediting
  • Deep understanding of digital storytelling to produce content with a strong narrative
  • Able to take complex topics like technology or finance and illustrate a clear message without losing the “brand voice”
  • Experience writing in the fields of education (secondary & higher), technology, nonprofit or financial services. Alternatively, the ability to conduct enough research to be knowledgeable which will translate to comprehensive content.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate and support SEO Strategist on SEO content-related project estimates and proposals, facilitating content strategy intake process with new clients, and assemble and prepare content strategy recommendations
  • Work with RMG project manager to communicate content production timelines and manage expected deadlines
  • Conduct online research and/or gather information via interviews or focus groups in preparation for developing content
  • Consult with SEO Strategist to assess topics to cover and contribute recommendations for themes and ideas
  • Write and edit long-form content for websites, blogs, email newsletters, reports, white papers, etc. with expected deadlines
  • Write short-form copy for social media or directory profiles
  • Produce profiles, briefings, scripts, talking points, and/or other written materials with expected deadlines
  • Guarantee clarity, organization, accuracy, style, and quality of written work that has been proofread to ensure grammatical correctness and consistency of tone and voice.
  • Participate with SEO Strategist in regular departmental check-ins with agency principal to share project status reports
